Serving & Getting Involved
Worship
Our community worships each Sunday at 11:00 am in the historic Waples United Methodist Church sanctuary.
All are welcome and encouraged to join us!
Each 5th Sunday’s worship is filled with music and praise followed by a Pot Luck Lunch.
Sunday School
Sunday School is held in the Fellowship Hall each Sunday beginning at 9:45AM
Men’s Fella-Ship
Our men gather each Tuesday morning at 8:30AM at the Granbury Whataburger for an informal time of fellowship and mutual support. All men are invited to join us!
Bible Study
An In-depth bible study is held each Tuesday at 12:00Noon in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your Bible and come ready to learn, share and fellowship together
Sit-n-Sew Women’s Fellowship
This group meets each Wednesday at 10:00AM and enjoys fellowship as they work
on crafting projects including prayer quilts.
Music Ministry
Waples UMC has a vibrant music ministry. We supply leadership for a gospel hymn singing for the residents of the Aviva-Granbury Retirement Community on the 2nd Monday of the month at
6:00 PM.
3rd Sunday Breakfast
The men of our church cook and serve a great breakfast every 3rd Sunday at 8:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall. There is also a time of prayer and fellowship.
All are invited!
Women’s Life Group
This group meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at 1:00PM for special topics of interest, fellowship and mutual support. All women are invited!
Missions
The WOW (Women of Waples) Missions group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 10:00AM. This group puts their faith into action through education and support of local mission projects.
