Fellowship, Serving & Getting Involved
Worship
Our community worships each Sunday at 11:00 am in the historic Waples United Methodist Church sanctuary.
All are welcome and encouraged to join us!
5th Sundays
Worship on most 5th Sundays is filled with music and gospel singing, and is followed by a Pot Luck Lunch.
Sunday School
Sunday School is held in the Fellowship Hall each Sunday beginning at 9:45AM (expect for most 5th Sundays.
Men’s Fella-Ship
Our men gather each Tuesday morning at 8:30AM at the Granbury Whataburger for an informal time of fellowship and mutual support. All men are invited to join us!
Bible Study
An In-depth bible study is held each Monday at 1:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your Bible and come ready to learn, share and fellowship together
Sit-n-Sew Women’s Fellowship
This group meets each Wednesday at 10:00AM and enjoys fellowship as they work
on crafting projects including prayer quilts.
Music Ministry
Waples UMC has a vibrant music ministry. We supply leadership for a gospel hymn singing for the residents of the Aviva-Granbury Retirement Community on the 2nd Monday of the month at
6:00 PM.
Missions
The WOW (Women of Waples) Missions group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 10:00AM (Sept – May). This group puts their faith into action through education and support of local mission projects.
